About me

My name is Andy and I work across West Oxfordshire as a gardener, helping with general maintenance and upkeep of a range of gardens from the smallest to the largest, be that weeding, pruning, tidying, planting or mowing.  I started gardening with a friend in 2017 and found out that I rather enjoyed it,  I have grown to love it as a pastime and a job, taking great pleasure in my work and dealing with myriad tasks from clearing the outside space in a popular coffee shop to building a second-hand greenhouse.

I obtained the RHS Level 2 Certificate in Practical Horticulture from Abingdon and Witney College, a great course which gave me a solid grounding in practical experience, technical knowledge and even some gardening philosophy from two very experienced and helpful teachers.

On more prosaic matters, I can bring my own tools, I have a well-used and long-suffering car and full public liability insurance.
